The Barn Group saw more potential in this property than just a conservation easement. TBG felt the site could contribute more, and in partnership with the land owner, The Barn at Rock Fence (TRF) was born.

Before the ink was dry on the easement, TRF was hosting its first veteran retreat. The Wounded Warrior Project, a national non-profit for wounded veterans, immediately recognized TRF as a source of respite and healing for their members. Heroes from WWP were the first to use TRF for their relief. Quickly thereafter, The Eden Project also approached TRF to use its resources for their veteran families. Through our partnerships and fundraising events, the gates of TRF have flung wide open for our nation's veterans and their families.

In acknowledgment of the sacrifices of our nation's veterans and their families, we happily share what is protected forever and what TRF has been granted stewardship over.
